As our Open Letters project slowly chugs along, it’s time for a quicker, more visible, more massive project:

A large portion of the United States is Christian, and strangely, Christians are more likely to circumcise baby boys than many other demographic groups.

Circumcision runs against universal Christian teaching when we do this, but we still do it anyway – mostly because we’re misinformed. We think circumcision is a healthy procedure, naturally required, a Christian practice, the kindest cut, or just hygienic.

But as peer-reviewed studies and solid scholarship have repeatedly demonstrated, circumcision is actually unhealthy, unnatural, unchristian, unkind, and unhygienic.

So help us get these circumcision information booklets for Christians out there.

Ultimately, we want to send #1millionbooklets out...

...but 10,000 will do for a first batch. But we need recipients. We’ll be busy collecting addresses, but we need YOUR help, too.
